What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let a service remember things between visits — like the fact that you're signed in, or that you prefer dark mode. We use a deliberately small set.
The cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keep you signed in and secure your session. The service can't work without these. | First-party |
| Preferences | Remember choices like your light/dark theme so the app looks how you left it. | First-party |
| Analytics | Aggregate, non-identifying usage and error metrics that help us keep PureSign fast. | First-party |
| Advertising | Shown to free-plan users only. Ad partners may set their own cookies. Pro removes ads. | Third-party |
Guest mode
When you use PureSign as a guest, we rely only on the essential and preference cookies needed for the page to function. Your uploaded files are processed in your browser and aren't tied to a tracking profile — see our Privacy Policy for how processing works.
Advertising on the free plan
Free accounts may see ads, and ad partners can set their own third-party cookies to measure and serve them. Upgrading to Pro removes ads and the cookies that come with them. See our Terms of Service for plan details.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can block third-party cookies entirely. Note that disabling essential cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the service. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal, which we honor where required.
Updates to this policy
As we add or remove features, this list may change. We'll update the effective date above when it does.
